The most popular of all the arenas is the actual AMPUTHEATRE itself, located on the refurbished and reopened Alcatraz Island. While it is no longer the most spectacular of any of the arenas (as the structural majesty of The Carcasseum can attest), the Wardens shrewdly allot their budgets towards the apprehension of the most notorious and sinister criminals and killers on the planet- Lycosus the mad spider Priest, the Hopscotch Killers, and numerous others. This is coupled with the perpetuation of pure, mano y mano combat between all of its combatants, with as little interference from the Wardens as possible. This of course, doesn't stop the Wardens from adorning their battlefield- however sparsely- with gruesome torture devices. Most notable is a mysterious crate procured from an Antarctic expedition, containing a ferocious and insanely territorial polar beast who can never seem to remain in the same place for long...
